TARVA dresser

I love these Ikea Tarva dressers, I actually have three of them in my house. The two I keep in my bedroom I have just left as-is, but the one in Jude's room didn't really fit the space. It was just a little too fresh and new looking next to his wood floors. The fix was totally simple- it was done in a day. I took off the knobs and wiped the whole thing over with Minwax wood stain in Espresso. It made it dark but the wood was so light to begin with, that it didn't end up overwhelmingly dark. Then I just switched out all the knobs for these. The price says $3.99 but they regularly go on sale for 50% off so I only paid $2 a piece. Total cost for this dresser update: $25.
